Blog » Beetil Tags

As part of our latest release we’ve made some slight cosmetic changes to the right hand side of Beetil forms and added the ability to tag beetils (i.e. incidents, problems, changes, etc.).

When you want to add a tag you’ll see an auto-complete dropdown suggesting tags that have already been used within the current service. You can add as many tags as you like and these are added to the beetil without requiring saving of the beetil (much like entering time).

Clicking on a tag will take you to the search page listing everything tagged with that particular tag. You may also notice the special search syntax used in the search in the top-right. If you enter “tag:” you’ll see an auto-complete that lists all the tags available to you. See the screenshot below:

You can also create reports that have tag conditions as well. You can add as many tags as you like. Note that these are all inclusive -so if you report on beetils tagged with “documentation” and “support” for example, you will only get results back for beetils that have used both tags. In addition to creating reports based on tags, you can also use Mass Actions to add/remove tags in bulk.

As always, we’d love to hear your feedback. Drop us a line at support@beetil.com or log your thoughts and suggestions via Feedback in Beetil or via your Beetil Support customer portal logon.
